Great tasting coffee served in very simple surroundings. The service is good and the staff are friendly. There is a fantastic choice of tea too. A lovely place for a quiet drink.
Great coffee. Very limited choice of food the day we visited. Just a few cakes available. Good location but top end on price too. Only one person working; taking orders, making coffee, clearing tables etc.
Extremely slow service with no sense of urgency. Visited with my two children and husband. Given cakes fifteen mins before drinks arrived! Four hot drinks and unfortunately three of us disliked ours, and we are really not picky people! The coffee was far too bitter for my liking, and the drinks were barely warm. Such a shame as it looked really nice from the outside. 18 for four drinks and three cakes was an expensive mistake!
Seems to still be a work on progress and maybe they need to finish refurbishing the cafe and adding a few items besides coffee. But the principle of premium coffee is good and I hope next time I pass the shop it has added a few layers of depth and it can get 5 stars.
Great coffee. Fantastic that you can take your dog into the coffee shop. Makes a big difference being able to relax inside out of the weather.
