Has more seats than it looks from the pavement; extra seats in the basement. It is very tight between tables, so perhaps best avoided if you have a wheelchair or pushchair. Good selection of coffees; all served witb a small shortbread biscuit. Wide choice of snacks (panini, toasted, savoury pastries, jacket potatoes, soup). The menu even offered a vegan chilli on a jacket potatoes. The broccoli and Skipton soup was delicious. Varied selection of cakes on offer.
This place is great, please support this lovely local business in favour of big national coffee shops that could costa lot of local businesses their much needed livelihoods...my partner and I had the BEST ever afternoon tea here in September....great value at 18.50 for the two of us....
Nice coffee, nice food, nice relaxed atmosphere :)
Delicious coffee and Viennese cake. Super service and welcoming staff. Lots of food choices.
Lovely place and workers. They have relatively cheap prices for what they offer, while maintaining a large menu. They also have extras added to tea and coffee etc. that make it feel more welcoming. Always has a lovely atmosphere and the use of the downstairs seating makes it feel more open and less packed during busy times.
