Myself and some friends went for a group holiday last month. Our first impressions of the house were positive, we were impressed with the facilities we got for the price, however, we were soon aware of the broken dishwasher (despite workman coming in during our holiday it never got fixed), the lack of hot water for the whole week we were there and the dirty floors and broken furniture throughout the house. After leaving the house we were sent an email telling us that we had left the house in a bad state: dirty oven, full bins, unorganised cupboards, broken furniture that we weren't responsible for and blocked sink. We were later charged more than the security deposit for these damages even though we were told that none of them had to be payed for by the owner and we knew that none of the issues were there when we left the house. Overall we were disappointed with our experience with Elwin house and hope that nobody else has had to deal with unfair charges, or ever has to.
