This gets 5 stars because it does what it does very well. It's basic, it's dated but it's clean, staff are very friendly and helpful.
Spent a week in the sandcliff. Never had friendlier staff anywhere I've stayed. The breakfast is wonderful and especially the service. The marmelade is lush. Never been taken care of this well, 5*.its clean its pet friendly, neat and its got very thing you need. The front of house is a bubbly lady and everyone in the back is just as wonderful. Accommodates to any needs. Smiles all around. Thank you for a lovely stay in your cozy B&B, if I'm ever back in Cromer I know where to stay.
We went to Cromer with 16 other geologists on a geology field trip and stayed three nights at the Sandcliffe Hotel, Very good value for money in a great central place with parking. The room we had was really big with plenty of storage. The full cooked breakfast was excellent and the staff were delightful and helpful especially Ann on reception who sorted out any of our small queries cheerfully and quickly.
Recommend this guest house - myself, my partner, baby and 2 dogs stayed for 2 nights in a family room - the room had a double and single bed. The guesthouse provided us with a travel cot which saved us having to bring one! Shower was sufficient - towels provided. Also had tea making facilities as well. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment but the location (5 min walk from the beach and pier) and sea view was perfect. Very reasonable price - would definitely stay again, thank you!
No frills, basic functional and cheap but clean and tidy. Friendly, efficient and smiling staff. Ideally placed for exploring Cromer. They also serve a lovely breakfast and the service is great. Very dog friendly.
